🟥 Evidence based facts A utility meter reader individual in Germany has a large collection of Historic German Water Meters who claims to have a water meter branded with the Jaeger Co logo, if so, it is an extremely rare item of historical value. It is plausible that C. H. Jaeger & Co. produced a small batch of water meters during 1936–1943, likely under municipal instruction or wartime necessity. They were not a formal meter manufacturer, but pump/blower factories were occasionally redirected to produce metering equipment.

The HWM.Museum has yet to acquire a Jaeger water meter for its collection, which would be a very rare find.
